Installation: 1. The 8 PIN [PSU] port can only be inserted into the CPU port of EVGA power supply. 2. The 4+4 PIN [CPU] port can be directly inserted into the MB's CPU slot or into the female port of a standard female-to-male CPU extension cable. 3. This is the only correct installation method. Please confirm before and after installation.

Q&A: Q1: Can I use it to power PCIE? Or can I retrofit it to power the GPU? A: No! It's not the same as the PCIE cable, you can't retrofit it to a PCIE power cable.
